First Church Day Center
Rick and Jane Motta, coordinators of the Day Center
Rick and Jane Motta, coordinators of the Day Center became members of First Presbyterian Church
of Warren back in 2019. One of the main things that attracted us was how involved the church was in supporting the community. We are happy to continue that work at the weekly Day Center for those in need. We are grateful for the support we receive from our church and the community.

What is the Day Center?
The First Church Day Center began operations on Thursday June 6, 2019! Every Thursday we have opened our doors to those at risk and homeless, we have provided hot and cold breakfast, lunch, showers and a brown bag lunch to go. We also provide bus tickets, personal hygiene products, underwear and socks when needed. When available we have outreach community services to assist with housing.
Our doors are open from 8am-2pm, showers are provided by the Wave Project, a light breakfast, lunch, brown bag lunch to go are also available.
We love having volunteers to serve breakfast and lunch and help with guest intake and guest services. We appreciate other congregations and groups in the area who are willing to donate/prepare lunch and appreciate the many restaurants that support us.
