Deacons' MinistryFellowship and friendships are what make First Church feel like family. Deacons sponsor all-church meals, provide Fellowship Hours after church as a place for friends to catch up, and offer a Coffee Cart in the sanctuary following worship to greet visitors and new friends.
Deacons offer ministries of compassion to those dealing with illnesses, personal struggles, and for those who can’t make it to church. They visit, call, and send greeting cards to our church family as signs of sympathy, prayer, and just as a pick-me-up when people need it most.
