Facility Enhancement is Underway

Get a good look at all the projects happening in the sanctuary! It's a bit dusty, but it's so exciting to see the project come to fruition!

The new technology should be installed by the end of the week. We'll begin using it this summer, as we work to complete the rest of the projects. Thanks to all the guys who have been working long hours doing the construction and clean-up in the sanctuary.

Churches can gain so much by working in partnership! It's our pleasure to invite you to the Arts Camp 2012 at First Presbyterian Church of TROY!

July 23-July 26 from 6-8pm
Ages 3rd Grade - Adult
Learn drawing, paper-making, card-making, collage, and printmaking.

Space is limited to 25 participants. All basic supplies are included. This event is free and open to the public and is supported by a grant from the Presbytery of Detroit Peacemaking Committee.

The Gift of Faith on Confirmation Sunday

We celebrated Confirmation Sunday on June 3. Kaleb and Christian were welcomed into full ministry and responsibility in the church. Surrounded by their families and mentors, they professed their faith in Christ and their desire to continue on the journey of faith.

Confirmation is a class. Confirmation is a day in the church. Confirmation begins in childhood and points us toward a life of faith. Confirmation is one step on the road; never the destination.

God has given us the gift of these young men to help us understand discipleship and faith. Together, may we all be strengthened to not only believe, but also to live out our faith each day.
